''I
was too embarrassed to take my son Ben into the Supermarket because
of his tantrums. Having play dates with other mums was just too
hard
Children Misbehaving helped me see how to react in ways that Ben
could respond to positively. I felt calm and in control. Outings
and play dates are no longer something I dread.''

Being a parent is one of the most difficult and important jobs in
the world...
Do
you have difficulties with your pre-school child's behaviour such
as:
|
- Temper tantrums
- Bullying,
bossy or aggressive behaviour
- Defiance
- Crying to
get his/her own way
- Demanding
behaviour

About What You Can Do Differently. |

Some Parenting Tips:
—
Discipline works best when you have a good relationship with your
child.
— Don't
make consequences so long or harsh that they lose their meaning.
— Discipline
includes rules and consequences. Decide on a discipline plan ahead
of problems.
— You
can discipline without using physical punishment.
— Talk
to other parents about their rules.
— Spend
energy on the really important things and learn to overlook minor
irritations.
— Think
about your expectations - are they reasonable and age appropriate?
